Modern Business Space with KRAFT Ceilings: Inspiration through Form and Texture

Modern Business Space with KRAFT Ceilings: Inspiration through Form and Texture
Expired

One of the key elements that shape how we perceive a space is the ceiling. It sets the tone, defines the structure, and adds either depth or warmth. KRAFT suspended ceilings offer flexible solutions for projects of varying complexity, meeting both aesthetic and functional design goals.

Today’s business spaces are no longer purely utilitarian. They are becoming places of attraction — where sensations, atmosphere, and a human-centered approach matter. In modern offices and business centers, comfort comes first: ergonomic furniture, natural materials, and visually pleasant surroundings. Relaxation zones are especially important — not as a formality, but as an essential part of corporate culture and a tool for enhancing productivity.

Project Highlights

This design concept was developed by the KRAFT team to showcase the potential of ceiling systems in business interiors.

In the business center’s lounge area, various ceiling types alternate to create a unified, rhythmic pattern that flows seamlessly through the space. Black KRAFT cube-shaped rail is used in areas with curved surfaces. The transitions of the rail from the ceiling to the walls and columns create a sense of volume, unity, and directional flow. This approach enhances the perception of architectural geometry and adds spatial depth.

In contrast to the black rail is a warm pyramidal open cell ceiling with a wood texture. This element not only enlivens the space but also adds a sense of coziness and dynamic energy. The combination of the two systems sets the desired rhythm, varies the textures, and plays with spatial perception.

Ceiling Solutions: Geometry, Texture, and Mounting

The project utilizes two KRAFT suspended ceiling systems — the cube-shaped rail and the pyramidal open cell ceiling. These solutions were chosen not only for their expressive aesthetics but also for their technical capabilities.

The KRAFT pyramidal open cell ceiling, finished in a wood texture, has a distinctive three-dimensional structure that makes the ceiling appear voluminous. This form effectively diffuses light and conceals utilities — a crucial feature for public spaces.

The KRAFT cube-shaped rail was used in black for this project. To apply the rail on curved surfaces, a combination of standard and flexible traverses was used, which is especially important when transitioning from ceiling to wall or cladding rounded surfaces. Thanks to this method, the rail becomes more than just a decorative element — it turns into an architectural feature that emphasizes geometry and enhances visual direction.

The combination of the warm, voluminous open cell grid and the clean lines of the cube-shaped rail makes it possible to design interiors that balance technological precision and comfort, structure and organic flow. These ceilings don’t impose limits — they offer designers freedom.

Lighting: Light as an Extension of Form

The lighting is implemented using 1200 mm KRAFT G-Led luminaires, mounted along the rails. This integration turns the lights into a natural continuation of the architectural lines, maintaining overall geometry without visual noise.

The soft, even light of KRAFT G-Led enhances the sense of depth, highlights material textures, and preserves the minimalist aesthetic. These luminaires are energy-efficient, visually appealing, and easy to install — they become part of the structure rather than an external element.

Conclusion: Ceilings as the Foundation of Architectural Language

This concept is more than just an interior — it is a visual manifesto of how ceilings can become a central design element. The use of cube-shaped rail with flexible traverse, pyramidal open cell ceiling with wood texture, and integrated KRAFT G-Led lighting demonstrates how standard systems can enable non-standard solutions.

KRAFT ceilings open up creative possibilities for architects and designers. They offer the freedom to combine style, comfort, and innovation — shaping spaces that are not only functional but truly inspiring.

Wishing you inspiration!
